Job Description:

  1. Contribute to the company's development of innovations, long-term strategies, objectives, and plans.
  2. Develop and strengthen working relationships with other departments and peers.
  3. Develop and recommend implementation strategies for the General Manager Operations to run plantations according to the best agronomic standards in all related areas.
  4. Develop and maintain the accuracy of company GIS Data related to legality map, planting map, topographic, water level, convert related data into a visual map, etc.
  5. Provide accurate data analytics to assist the operations lead in making decisions.
  6. Implement the budget within the agreed agronomic standard parameter.
  7. Manage the ASD to ensure targets are achieved by efficiently using human, financial, physical, and information resources.
  8. Lead the ASD team and maintain productive working relationships and team spirit.
  9. Ensure that the ASD is efficiently managed and supervised to ensure agronomy data and the cost-effective completion of the work program to the required standards.
  10. Develop a mutual relationship with other plantations and related institutions.
  11. Actively participate in implementing environmental health and safety policy.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor of Agriculture/Agronomy or related education from a reputable university.
  2. Have experience in agronomy, field management, and research for 20 years at a minimum.
  3. Have experience as a GM plantation, agronomist, research, and development.
  4. Fluent in Bahasa and English.
  5. Well understanding of coconut, pineapple, palm oil, or any related plantation operations from seed cultivation until harvesting.
  6. Deep knowledge of best agronomic standards for coconut, pineapple, and palm oil plantation operations.
  7. Familiar with any continuous improvement tools such as Lean - Six Sigma, Kaizen, Scrum/Agile, etc.
  8. Able to develop and use Power BI for reporting tools.
  9. Physically and mentally healthy.
  10. Willing to be based at the site and travel across site locations of plantations under PT RSUP and its subsidiary.
  11. Willing to travel to plantations to supervise the work in the field.
