About The Role
As a Staff Product Designer at Gojek, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, driving new initiatives for the customer platform team that span across all our business units. This is a unique opportunity to shape the user experience for millions of users in one of Southeast Asia's leading super apps. You'll tackle complex design challenges, working on projects that have a direct impact on our customers and our business. You'll lead the design of key initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership directly, and help define the future of Gojek's product offerings.
What You Will Do
Lead the design process from ideation to execution for new initiatives across various business units.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create user-centered designs.
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs to effectively communicate design concepts.
Pitch and present ideas and initiatives directly to senior leadership
Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Advocate for user experience and design excellence within the company.
Measure and analyze the impact of your designs, using data to iterate and improve the user experience.
What You Will Need
A minimum of 8 years of experience in customer-focused design roles at product companies.
A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in user-centered design, including case studies of successful projects.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma and prototyping tools like Protopie
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate and present design vision & decisions clearly.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
A deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating delightful user experiences.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
