What you’ll be doing day to day:

  1. Serve all walk-in business customers, provide best solution to complete their purchase, provide a positive shopping experience. 
  2. Proactively seek sales opportunities from potential business customers in the store’s PMA. 
  3. Actively act as an IKEA brand ambassador when contacting business customers and participating in local events. 
  4. Ensure accurate reporting of business sales in the store 
  5. Take full responsibility for ensuring the IKEA BUSINESS point is in excellent shape as new and IKEA BUSINESS communication is appropriately displayed with the four merchandising basics in place at all times (priced, clean, well assembled and available) 
  6. Maximise sales whilst maintaining profitability by knowing and actively steering towards the top-selling and strategic products. 
  7. To work with the IKEA BUSINESS and stores sales teams to ensure that every customer must have a shopping experience that exceeds his or her expectations, conscious on their extra constraints in time. 
  8. Communicate with other store’s IB specialists and share experience to constantly renew & improve. 

 

We want you to be a person who:

  1. Experience of working in a customer-focused service industry 
  2. Strong IKEA product knowledge across range areas 
  3. Experience of actively targeting customers, providing insights and suggestions to clients, and selling through understanding their needs and able to address their concerns 
  4. Experience of negotiating outcomes in a commercial context 
  5. Knowledge in business customer shopping behavior 
  6. Problem solving and decision-making skills 
  7. Computer proficient 
  8. Fluent in spoken and written English 
  9. As you work in a store,you will be working in mixture of days
