Comprising experts in project management, product development, and stakeholder coordination, the team plays a pivotal role in aligning product strategies with business objectives.

Get to Know the Role
As a Product Operation Assistant Manager, you will act as an extension of the Regional Product Team to influence and deliver feature improvements and implementations in Indonesia. You will assist in the go-to-market strategy for new features, products, and processes related to the GrabMerchant App and Portal. This role is crucial for ensuring that product rollouts are successful and that the needs of the market and merchants are effectively met.
 

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Product Team Alignment: Align with the Product Team on the pipeline and current features being developed or implemented.
  • Feedback & Ideation: Provide feedback, concerns, and ideas to the Product Team to improve features and processes.
  • Merchant Engagement: Gather and select merchants for experiments, pilots, or full rollouts, ensuring their involvement and feedback are integrated into the product development process.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct simple merchant list checking, testing, troubleshooting, and summarizing to ensure smooth product operations.
  • Communication Management: Manage communication materials related to changes or improvements, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor success metrics and report on performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Event Participation: Participate in merchant events and conduct site visits as needed for experiments, pilots, sampling, or surveys.

Qualifications

The Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Strong project management, cross-department communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Previous experience in a product operations role or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with simple query languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Experience managing or supporting the rollout of digital products or features.
