We are looking for a Product Manager role, focused on the category of Survey & Mapping: this will involve a combined mix of drone technology, aerial survey cameras and sensors, geospatial software (Agisoft, ArcGIS, PIX4D, DJI Terra, Terrasolid etc.), RTK-GNSS survey equipment, A.I. and analytics on geospatial data, and generally 2D and 3D mapping and modeling applications of all kinds, for all industries.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in fields related to Geospatial Science, Geography and/or Geodetic Engineering.
- Experience as product manager/solutions engineer/pre-sales or business development minimum of 5-years.
- Experience or knowledge in mapping drone applications in multiple industries.
- Strong interest and technical knowledge in the geospatial software and commercial drone industry.
- Written and Spoken English is mandatory for this position.
- Professional communication style and ability to communicate directly with the Principal/Manufacturer.
Job Description:
- End-to-end Product Development: Principal communication, coordination in technical solutions and internal training, to end-user technical presentation and sales solutions offering.
- Pre-sales: Design drone solutions technical and commercial offers for a wide range of potential customers, assist sales and clients to provide the best solutions for their requirements, including technical presentations and proposals.
- Market Development: Having strong technical background and deep knowledge about Survey, Mapping & Geospatial Solutions, in order to be able to drive the execution of all processes in the product’s commercial life cycle, including: product and market research, competitor analysis, analysis of customer requirements, product launches, etc.
- Product Training & Workshops: Provide customer support and various types of training on our products, as needed. Organize workshops & training seminars to educate customers and reseller channel partners.
- Product Knowledge: maintain technical abilities and proven skills/experience in the fields of Survey & Mapping, Geospatial Science.
- Collaborate with partner companies and authorized resellers to develop sales and marketing strategies for specific product/service solutions, to specific target customers and markets.
- Solutions architect, designing technical solutions/systems with visual flowcharts and system design documentation to clearly explain a technology solution to customers, frequently including the integration of a wide range of products and softwares.
- Work effectively with colleagues and internal Operations Team to support sales and pre-sales, understanding customer requirements and working with our team internally to provide solutions and customer support.
- Stay sharply updated on commercial drone and Survey & Mapping technology, maintaining high awareness of new products, industry and market developments.
