Job Description :

• Supervise and monitor the process engineer works in doing monitoring on the current or historical plant  performance and giving advice to the operation in implementing any potential improvement in term of economics, energy conservation & production yield, etc.
• Develop SOP required to support tecnical activities. Coordinate and follow up the MOC management system.
• Coordinate and supervise the utility reporting and the design documents issuance which are submitted by process engineers.
• Monitoring efficiency from all operation sections. Provide proposal to operation for any process improvement or modifications needed in order to achieve a better productivity and got a lower production cost.
• Ensure the accuracy and validity of a design properly, which is prepared & submitted by process engineers
• Giving advice and direction to process engineers in doing the evaluation and preparing the improvement proposal, based on his experience and knowledge.
• Giving support to the Process engineering manager in providing the data, information, and suggestion to cover the information required by Management.
• Involve in all project development stage, by supporting the Process engineering manager in preparing all the conceptual basis of the improvement or expansion to achieve the approval of the proposal.
• Interact and collaborate with cross-functional or multi-disciplinary engineering teams, to understand various requirements in developing the simple design for any project or changes. 
• Be interface with another departments (end users), technology vendors & equipment’s suppliers during all project phases.
• Develop PFD and P&ID, process optimization, mass-heat-utility balance, cause effect matrix, control philosophy and other related documents required for all inhouse engineering works.
• Perform sizing & preparing process datasheet for equipment such as pressure vessel, heat exchanger, compressor, pump, tank, PSV and doing hydraulic calculation.

Job Requirement :

• Minimum recognized bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with GPA 3.0 (of 4.0)
• Having min. 5 years of experience in process engineering section in chemicals industry or engineering company. Or Having minimum 4 years of experience of process engineering position in Oleochemicals industry (Fatty Acid, Biodiesel, Fatty Alcohol & downstream) with proven knowledge & ability.
• Having experience in handling people or subordinate will be highly considered.
• Must be self-motivated and a great team worker and could communicate effectively and clearly.
• Ability to multi-task and execute the work for multiple job at various kind of works.
• Having knowledge on Process Safety Management, especially Process Hazard Analysis, Management of Change, Process Safety Information & Pre-Start Up Safety Review
• Required language: English
• Understanding the implementation of ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015.
• Willing to be placed in Dumai Site (Lubuk Gaung)
