About The Role
We’re seeking a visionary Group Product Manager to spearhead the evolution of our Search and Recommendation feature at Gojek. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead the strategy and execution to enhance how millions of users discover and engage with our services daily. Your entrepreneurial mindset will be key to navigating complex challenges, including balancing user needs with technical scalability and integrating advanced technologies. In the first six months, your innovative solutions will drive significant improvements in search relevance, recommendation accuracy, and user satisfaction, laying the groundwork for long-term success in a competitive landscape.
What You Will Do
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for Search and Recommendation, from ideation to launch and iteration.
Define and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing short-term goals with long-term vision.
Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, design, and business teams to build user-centric features.
Analyze user behavior data to optimize search algorithms and recommendation models.
Drive A/B testing initiatives to validate product changes and measure impact.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular user feedback and data analysis.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic goals and KPIs.
Present product updates and strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders.
What You Will Need
At least 8 years of product management experience, ideally with a focus on search or recommendation systems.
Strong analytical skills; experience in data analysis or engineering is a plus.
Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, and executive teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Self-starter mentality with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Proficient in using data-driven approaches to decision-making; experience with SQL and statistical analysis is beneficial.
