We are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Finance Director to oversee the financial operations of our real estate development currently in the construction phase. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, planning, and analysis, with a specific focus on real estate and construction projects. This role requires a proactive leader capable of driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to support our growth objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting across the group.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals.
  • Create and manage comprehensive budgets and forecasts for the development project, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the construction phase and overall project.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to budget.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee audits, tax planning, and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Implement and manage financial systems and tools to enhance financial tracking and reporting.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role within the real estate development or construction industry.
  • In-depth understanding of Indonesian Tax Regulations relevant to the construction and real estate sectors, ensuring compliance and strategic tax planning throughout project phases.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively conveying financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
  • In-depth understanding of financial regulations, real estate development processes, and construction industry dynamics.
