Qualifications & experience

  • Pre Opening and opening experience is highly regarded
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in the hospitality industry
  • Relevant university degree in Business Administration, Economics, or HR Management
  • Ability to lead and motivate the HR team, providing direction and setting high performance standards
  • Strong budgeting skills and well versed in payroll processes, general administration and computing skills to maintain significant levels of data and paperwork
  • Passionate in building relations with people, having an outgoing, self-motivated, outspoken, and positive personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate HR policies and procedures across all levels of the organization
  • Fluent in english, additional languages are a strong advantage
  • Sensitivity and awareness to manage a diverse and multicultural workforce, fostering an inclusive work environment

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Plan and forecast the short and long-term talent requirements for the hotel to support its business plans
  • Maintain a best practice recruitment approach, including the Company's vacancy management system, to attract the best applicants
  • Build a strong career and succession planning system to retain and develop talent
  • Implement training and development strategies to continuously improve performance and customer service
  • Oversee the hotel's human resources database and payroll system, Provide a framework for counseling, coaching, and welfare services and Manage the Opinion Survey and the calendar of Team Member social events
  • Manage and resolve, promptly and completely, all employee relations issues and Maintain an awareness of competitor human resources activities and best practices
  • Responsible to oversee, manage, control, and direct all matters related to employment and employee relations which includes Recruitment & Retention, Manning, Salaries & Benefits, Training, Administration, Grievances and Welfare.
