What you'll be doing

• Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and self-healing cloud infrastructure
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and incident response processes to improve system reliability
• Collaborate with development teams to create reliable, performant, and secure software systems
• Identify and address bottlenecks, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities in our cloud environment
• Continuously optimise cloud resource utilisation and costs
• Mentor junior SREs and share your expertise to help build a strong SRE culture
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response and remediation

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Expertise in infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, containerisation, and microservices architecture
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Proven track record of improving system reliability and uptime
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident response tools
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
