The incumbent must have a deep understanding of color theory, print processes (primarily offset; flexo and rotogravure will be an added advantage) and the ability to achieve results required by Customers.
Responsibilities will include FA file check, DTP works, color matching, print production, and quality assurance to prepare color folders for Customer’s final approval.
Requirements
- Understanding and interpreting client requirements for color and print jobs
- Check and prepare files for print proofing, including color correction and artwork adjustment recommendations to Customer at first instance receiving FA files
- Advising designers on the best use of color for desired outcomes
- Ensuring color consistency and quality across all proofing jobs
- Collaborating with ink suppliers, printers, and other team members to deliver final desired results
- Resolving technical issues related to print process
Responsibilities:
- Oversee color correctness during print proofing process
- Ensure print proofing jobs are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
- Perform color matching and ensure consistency across all mediums
- Work with graphic designers to achieve print results deemed acceptable by Customers
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, has a keen eye for aesthetics, and has 5-7 years’ experience in a print-packaging production environment.
- Must be comfortable working with various printing technologies and be able to perform quality checks on the final products.
- Proven experience as a Color and Print Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of color theory and print processes
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Diploma or higher in Design, Visual Arts or relevant field is a plus
- Professional English skill written and spoken.
- Willing to work on-site in Batam factory.
