Role

AwanTunai is looking for a Legal Manager who will lead the company’s legal operations and provide oversight and advice for the company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, negotiate, and revise any legal documents (agreements, confirmation letter, amendments/addendums, side letters, etc.) related to the assigned business units.
• Assist and advise to the assigned business units on any legal operations and contract matters, including but not limited to provide assistance on contract negotiations with the partners/vendors.
• Conduct research and due diligence for the purposes of agreement drafting.
• Handle any day-to-day legal operations and contract matters of the assigned business units.
• Support the legal operation team and provide the team with guidance/assistance where needed.
• Lead the legal team and report to the VP of Legal and Compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in law. A master's degree is a plus but not essential.
• Minimum 7+ years of working experience, preferably in a private legal sector or a similar position in a tech company with proven leadership experience.
• Strong understanding and proven experience in handling the fundraising or equity financing.
• Excellent communication in English and Indonesia, both oral and written.
• Can-do attitude, positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to establish effective communication within the team and with the business units.
• Proactive, flexible, and detailed-oriented.
