About the Role
Gojek is currently hiring for a UX Illustrator! This role is needed in providing users’ point of view by emphasizing their situation, condition and bringing them into clear and delightful visuals. This is done by discussions or brainstorms when collaborating with various stakeholders.
The role would include spending their time solving frictions for users across Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam. Their scope will mainly cover requirements that collaborate between product design and marketing in order to create consistency across illustrations seen online and offline. This will include various services in Mobility, GoFood and Customer Platform. Therefore, being able to work with a brief, solve problems creatively and adapt the guidelines into a clear visual are key requirements.
What Will You Do
Generate illustrations that resonate with target audiences with good visual design understanding
Ensure the consistency of the illustrations across the Gojek ecosystem across various teams
Ensure the maintenance of illustrations within our library Participate in an end-to-end design process with peer product designers, researchers, marketing, and engineering teams
Manage projects and expected to deliver accordingly based on the timeline
Proactively seek feedback for the work to ensure solutions are on par with design and are bug-free
What Will You Need
Should have at least 3 years of experience in the UX Illustration/advertising/design industry, with familiarity in 2D illustrations. 3D skill is a plus
Has had experience in collaborating with various stakeholders
Possess a good knowledge of drawing fundamentals such as layout, color, composition, and creative thinking in order to develop their illustration output
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite softwares (specifically Adobe Illustrator) and Figma. Knowledge about 3D softwares is a plus
Great communication skills both in English and Indonesian (both verbal and written)

Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds and are experts in Graphic Design, Product Design, UX Writing, Illustration, Research and Motion Design. Together we envision, create, and support products and services that meaningfully improve the lives of our customers.
UX Illustrators are part of the Gojek Design Team. As a team, we're responsible for the illustrations that can be seen across the Gojek app - from creating new visuals to maintaining the thousands of illustrations in our library. The UX illustration team is here to ensure we add delight, whether it’s in app or within the day to day work life with the Gojek design team!
