Job Overview:
The General Manager of Sales & Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth and enhance the hotel’s market presence. This role involves leading the sales and marketing team, managing client relationships, and collaborating with other departments to ensure the hotel’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals and increase market share.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and marketing team, setting performance targets and providing ongoing training and support.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and travel agents.
- Create and execute marketing campaigns and promotional events to enhance brand awareness and attract new customers.
- Work closely with other departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Oversee the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and return on investment.
- Prepare and present sales and marketing reports to senior management, highlighting performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel and generate business leads.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Min. 10 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
