Job Summary

The Finance and Accounting Supervisor will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and manage compliance with accounting standards. This role involves close coordination with the Indo-Mindanao Resources Corporation (Philippines) and requires frequent business trips to the Philippines.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as Finance Supervisor, min. 3 years experience.
3. Proficiency in accounting software (proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred), ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-border teams.
7. Willing to travel frequently to the Philippines for business trips.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations: Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and reports.
2. Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
3. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
4. Budget Management: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management processes.
5. Collaboration: Communicate and coordinate closely with the Indo-Mindanao Resources Corporation to align financial processes.
6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, workflows, and controls.
7. Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all financial data and documents are ready and accurate.
