Job Description

- CI/CD: Creating, maintaining, and enhancing Gitlab CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.

- Infrastructure Management: Managing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure using Cloudformation.     

- Issue Resolution: Handling Jira tickets, solving issues and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences.

- Monitoring and Analysis: Monitoring alerts, analyzing logs, and addressing the issues.

- Performance Optimization: Identifying areas for system performance improvements and implementing optimizations.

Qualifications

What you need to succeed

• Toolstack:
  • AWS Cloud (RDS, S3, IAMs etc.)
  • Cloudformation/Terraform (Infrastructure as code),
  • GitLab CI/CD (Linux, Bash),
  • Kubernetes, Helm, Docker,
  • Monitoring tools like Grafana
• BS in computer science or related discipline;      
• Minimum years of work experience: 3+;
• New languages and unknown code base doesn't scare you;
• Open-Source enthusiasm, Familiar with many CNCF Projects;
• Strong communications skills - Experience with version control systems such as Git;
• Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must;
• 3+ years High level programming skills: Python/Bash/GoLang;
• 3+ years Linux System administration and/or engineering experience;
• 3+ years Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
