Responsibilities:

• Design and build ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to process data from various sources.
• Manage and optimize databases, including SQL and NoSQL, to ensure performance and reliability.
• Implement procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security for managed data.
• Collaborate with analytics teams and stakeholders to understand data needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Monitor data system performance and perform necessary maintenance and repairs.
• Document data architecture, processes, and procedures to ensure clear understanding within the team.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in data engineering or data analysis.
• Technical Skills: Experience with ETL tools such as Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala. Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra). Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and solve complex problems with a systematic approach.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in data engineering (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, AWS Certified Big Data) are a plus.
