• Provide thought leadership in the areas of Automation, Network as a Service, Data as a Service, DevOps, API & Microservices, to define an automation architecture and roadmap to enable the transition from reactive network management and manual design, planning, and delivery to proactive and predictive network management, orchestrated design, assisted planning and delivery.
• Responsible for aligning automation processes, tools, and strategies with the business goals. The stakeholders are Commercial/Business Planning and Corporate Strategy from which one of the inputs for defining the right corporate business plan to support will come, the respective Network Planning and Engineering team, B2B Fulfillment team, Network Operations team, Network Deployment team, and OG Technology and CKHH, as well as external entities.
• As part of the managerial level in the internal division, this role includes managing and developing the internal team, as well as delivering accurate reports, as part of the process life cycle.

Core Function

• Network Architecture Design: To design network infrastructures with automation in mind, ensuring that the network can be easily automated and orchestrated. This includes designing scalable, reliable, and secure network architecture
• Automation Strategy: To develop a comprehensive automation strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and network requirements. This strategy may involve selecting the appropriate automation tools, platforms, and technology
• Automation Development: To implement network automation solutions using tools and frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet, or custom scripts to streamline network provisioning, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
• Tool and Technology Evaluation: To assess and select appropriate automation and AI tools, platforms, and technologies for network-related tasks, considering scalability, interoperability, and security
• Collaboration: To collaborate with network engineers, security engineers, commercial/business planning, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and align technology solutions with organizational goals
• Implementation: To Lead the implementation of automation workflows, AI models, and integration with existing systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
• Monitoring and Reporting: To lead & coordinate the implementation of automated monitoring and alerting systems to detect network issues and anomalies in real-time
• Compliance and Standard: To ensure that network automation and AI solutions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
• Continuous Improvement: To continuously evaluate the effectiveness of automation solutions and refine them to meet changing business needs and technology advancements

Reporting

• To develop and maintain documentation for network automation and AI solutions, including configuration details and operational procedures
• To work together with the working stream, to ensure the quality and accuracy of the report, and understand the key risks and benefits of the initiatives.
• To produce the technology strategy and research update report related to Network Automaton and AI/ML

External Relation

• To serve as a company representative for external-related functions.
• To build a good network in the industry and keep up to date with potential technology optimization.

Requirements:

Qualification:

Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1). Master Degree (S2) is preferable, with major study in Telecommunication, Informatics, Computer, and other field of engineering and sciences.

Related Experience:

• Minimum 7 years in the Telecommunication industry, multiple business unit background of working experience would be an advantage.
• Extensive experience with at least 3 years in Automation and/or AI/ML solution architect unit with with a track record of successfully implementing automated solutions in complex network environments

Skills:

• Network & architecture expertise: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, architectures, and technologies, including experience with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network infrastructure components. Deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, cloud computing, microservices, and distributed systems architecture.
• Automation skills: Strong proficiency in automation technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), workflow orchestration, and AI/ML techniques including machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision.
• AI/ML Knowledge: Familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, and how they can be applied to network management, optimization, and security
• Software Development skills is a plus: Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, or similar, with a focus on infrastructure as code (IaC) principles
• Security Knowledge is a plus: Posses understanding of network security principles, including encryption, access controls, and the ability to integrate security measures into automated network processes
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills both Indonesian and English to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and business users
• Strategy & Roadmap: Ability to define overarching automation goals and create an automation roadmap for the organization
